We're calling it the "One School at a Time" Project. A charitable project where we plan on illuminating the lives of Mexican children, parents and teachers by improving the school they learn and grow in every single day!
On October 26th, 2018, UNIGLOBE Travel will embrace a new Charity Project that we're calling the "One School at a Time" Project.
Public schools in Mexico receive very little funding and are always in need. They could use all the help they can get and that is where we come in. With this project, we plan on illuminating the lives of Mexican children, parents and teachers by improving the school they learn and grow in every single day!
The school we are working with this year is called "Jose Maria Luis Mora Primaria Escuela", a primary school based in Cancun, Mexico. The school sees more than 700 students a day. With 12 total classrooms and numerous kids in and out, there is a lot of wear and tear on the school every single day.
Our group will be involved in refurbishing the furniture, giving the school a new paint job, building a wheelchair ramp for students with mobility issues and more.
